Lumbini is situated in Nepal about 22 kms from Bhairahawa of Nepal in the foot hills of Himalayas. 122 kms from Gorakhpur city in Uttar Pradesh . 181 Kms from Kushinagar of Uttar Pradesh and 240 kms from Sravasti of Uttar Pradesh of North India.: Lord Buddha was born at Lumbini while his mother was on her way to parental home from Kapilvastu. Lumbini should be visited and seen by a person of devotion, Lumbini is the Mecca of every Buddhist, being one of the four holy places of Buddhism.Buddha was born in Lumbini during the full moon day in the month of Baisakh in 623 B.C. he was born under a Sal tree (Shorea Robusta) when Maya Devi was going to her maternal town on the occasion of delivery. After birth Buddha took seven steps towards north and, looking in all directions, he declared that "I am the foremost of all creatures to cross the riddle of the ocean of the existence, this is my last birth and here after, I will not be born again".This newly born Prince named Siddhartha had supernatural birth & signs, which indicated that the new born child will bring deliverance to the world.

The Chitwan District (Nepali: चितवन जिल्ला) is one of 75 districts of Nepal, and is located in the south-western part of Narayani Zone with Bharatpur, the fifth largest city of Nepal, as its district headquarters. It covers an area of 2,238.39 km2 (864.25 sq mi), and in 2011 had a population of 579,984 (279,087 male and 300,897 female) people. Bharatpur is a commercial and service centre of central south Nepal and merger destination for higher education, health care and transportation of the region.The district takes its name from the Chitwan Valley, one of Nepal’s Inner Terai valleys between the Mahabharat and Siwalik ranges, both considered foothills of the Himalayas.Bharatpur is located on the banks of the Narayani River, and is the main town with numerous shopping zones where people come from all over the district and neighbouring districts.Now there are about 40 Village Development Committees, each of which has nine wards or villages and one sub-Metropolitan city, Bharatpur. The Ratnanagar, Khairahani and Chitrawan municipalities have more than nine wards or urban areas.Chitwan is one of the few remaining undisturbed vestiges of the Terai region, which formerly extended over the foothills of Nepal.

Day 1
Arrive in Kathmandu

On arrival at Kathmandu airport, you will welcome and transfer to the hotel by Red Dragon Travel Bureau Representative. You will have rest at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour Morning after breakfast, leave hotel to visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, the house of living Goddess Kumari, the ferocious KalBhairab, The Red Monkey God and hundreds of erotic carvings and Swayambhunath is the worlds most glorious Buddhist Chaityas. It is said to be 2000 years old. The monument is about 2 km. west of downtown on the hillock and back to the hotel and rest. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3
Drive to Lumbini

Morning after breakfast, Drive to Lumbini (The Birth Place of Lord Buddha). Check in hotel. Afternoon visit Maya Devi Temple dedicated to the mother of Lord Buddha, Sidhartha pond where Gautam Buddha was bathed after his birth. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4
Drive to Chitwan

Morning after breakfast leave by surface for Chitwan, on arrival check into the Jungle Lodge. After lunch leave for Jungle Safari in to the Royal Chitwan National Park to view game. (One horned Rhino, Bengal Tiger, Gharial, Striped Hyena and the Gangetic Dolphin etc.) Evening at leisure. Overnight at Jungle Lodge.

Day 5

Chitwan National Park full day sightseeing tour early morning and late afternoon Jungle Safari in to the national Park, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Jungle Lodge.

Day 6
Drive to Kathmandu

Morning after breakfast leave for Kathmandu, on arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7

Final Departure Morning after breakfast you will drive to Kathmandu airport for your onward destination.
